Sorel makes footwear that is honest, uncomplicated, and unpretentious. Form follows function, and the result is often quite beautiful. Since 1962 Sorel has lived by "being effortlessly outdoors no matter what the elements." This is no fad, Sorel has made a permanent footprint (that's right) as a staple in winter must-haves for men and women. Mission accomplished.

"The One" & Only Scent For You
The notes of this fragrance are composed to have a woody-oriental make-up. The scent is subtle but noticably interesting. It stands out because of the unique composition, not the overwhelming knock-out power which some colognes have. This will make a great gift to your honey this holiday season!
Fragrance Notes: Coriander, Grapefruit, Cardamom seed, Tobacco, Basil, Cedar, Ambre, Ginger, Orange Blossom
(I recommend buying this one at a department store in person so you can smell it first, of course!)

Brown Faux Fox Fur Wrap
iPod Watch Band
Thanks to its diminutive size and built-in clip, the new iPod nano isn't just a music player — it's a fashion accessory. Make it even more of one with an iPod Watch Band ($25). Made from silicone, these bands come in a variety of colors to coordinate with whatever color nano you prefer, and offer full coverage for the nano, with push-through button covers and an integrated headphone port cover.
Snap
Fresh off the success of, Root, its organic, alcoholic root tea, Art in the Age is back with another organic alcoholic treat. Snap ($33) is an 80 proof, 100% organic spirit inspired by authentic ginger snaps made with blackstrap molasses and fresh ginger, featuring flavors of both ingredients, with a hint of butter. Serve it straight, with a splash soda, or mixed with a good bourbon for a cold weather pick-me-up.

Bustin' Wind, One Gust at a Time...
With the GustBuster Umbrella!
This umbrella has wind-release vents so even gusts of 55 miles an hour can’t turn it inside out; keep it classic with a hardwood handle. At $35 this is a must-have. I have had umbrellas that blew insideout first use, I had one blow inside out that cost almost double what this costs. That's just embarrassing, okay?

Treetops Animal Rescue
I am in the process of adopting from them right now. TreeTops Animal Rescue is not a specific place -they do not have a shelter- instead, it is a network of people who volunteer their time and homes to save the lives of animals in need who were abandoned, surrendered, or lost. They have volunteers and foster homes spread throughout the area in Chester, Delaware, & Bucks Counties in PA as well as New Castle County, DE and Cecil County, MD. All are dedicated to finding good permanent homes for unwanted animals and educating the public about how wonderful rescue animals are and how much joy they can bring to your life.

Compost Corps
Yard trimmings and food residuals together constitute 26 percent of the U.S. municipal solid waste stream (USEPA). That's a lot of waste to send to landfills when it could become useful and environmentally beneficial compost instead AND it just so happens those items are the two main ingredients needed to brew your own dirt! Composting offers the obvious benefits of resource efficiency and creating a useful product from organic waste that would otherwise have been landfilled.

Quote/Unquote Bookends
Of all the bookend options out there, these really say the most. Designed by Eric Janssen, the Quote/Unquote Bookends ($90) are exactly what they sound like, with the pair making the books in between "speak to [the owner] in image alone." Each pair is made with a concrete core and synthetic rubber exterior, which means they'll hold their own against even the heaviest of volumes.

Beyond Boxes: Cardboard Shipping in a New Dimension
Corrugated cardboard may be the coolest material of modern times: lightweight and flexible but also durable and rigid in just the right proportions to be the perfect way of packing boxes for storage, moving and shipping. This designer concept by Patrick Sung takes those key properties and uses them to take our idea of a boring cubic box to the next level.

Hunter Wellington's
Hunter boots keep out the rain. They are all-weather (that means all 4 seasons people) fashionable and comfortable. For colder weather there are fleece socks that overlap at the top to keep the cold out too. They come in many colors and also come in shorter heights for those of us who come in shorter heights. Go out and get a pair.
